Saturday, 3/25 @ 8:30 am: Men's Breakfast - All men are invited to breakfast at church.  Typically a different member will share their faith journey each month.  This month, we will have a round-table discussion and also discuss planning for the upcoming men's retreat.  All men are welcome.  Often, we do some cleaning / repair / touch-up at church for about an hour after breakfast. Sunday, 3/26 after church - Saturday, 4/1: Habitat for Humanity - Our own Russ Barclay will be leading a mission trip down south to help build 10 homes for victims of Hurricane Katrina.  If you are interested in participating in this valuable mission opportunity, please see Russ Barclay: 612-702-7946.  Two groups will be going down to work the last week of March.  One group will be leaving on Thursday night, 3/23, while another group will be leaving after church on Sunday, 3/26.  The $100 cost (cheap!) will provide us with places to stay and food during the day (breakfast & lunch).  Russ & Jon, will take us out to local good places to eat, after a rewarding day of building!  :-)   Please click here to go to the Habitat for Humanity website and see work that has been done for Hurricane Katrina.

Friday, 3/31 @ 6pm: Screening of the film, "Wish" - There will be a screening o our own Kris Barberg's wonderful film, "Wish".  This is featured in the Fearless Filmmaker Event, a showcase of local short films.  Please come and see the new version, 8 minutes shorter and all fine-tuned for your viewing pleasure.  A Q&A session will follow the films, as well as an after-party with live music!  It will be Friday, March 31st at 6pm (screening at 7pm).   The venue is Suburban World Theater and the cost is $10.00.  Please contact Kris Barberg (612-719-0555) for more information.  Click here to go to her website.

Every Tuesday starting 4/25 @6:00pm: Calvary Chaos Softball Team! - Get your gloves out of storage and enjoy the spring by playing on our team.  It's great fun and a great opportunity to meet and hang out with other Calvary people!  Interested?  Please see Ken Schacher (612-240-0478) or Russ Barclary (612-702-7976).  If you want to simply cheer our team on to victory, attend the games!  We play every Tuesday night from 6-7pm at Lake Nokomis park.  If you are playing, please show up 1/2 hour early (5:30) so that Russ can set up the lineup and so you can warm-up!
