Every Tuesday Apil - July @6:00pm: Calvary Chaos Softball Team! - Get your gloves out of storage and enjoy the spring by playing on our team.  It's great fun and a great opportunity to meet and hang out with other Calvary people!  Interested?  Please see Manager Ken Schacher (612-240-0478) or Coach Russ Barclary (612-702-7976).   Even if you don't want to play, we need people to cheer our team on to victory!  We play every Tuesday night from 6:15-7:15pm at Lake Nokomis park.  If you are playing, please show up 1/2 hour early (5:45) so that Russ can set up the lineup and so you can warm-up!  Practices are held at Phelps Park (39th & Chicago) at 4pm on Sundays.  Click here for our 2006 season schedule!

Friday, 6/16 - Saturday, 6/17: Men's Retreat - Calvary's Men are invited for a great weekend of fun and fellowship out at 'The Barn' again this year.  This is an overnight retreat for Calvary's men - June 16-17 (Friday evening to Saturday afternoon).  Join us as we seek to enhance our 'journeyman' status!  This retreat is for all men at Calvary.  We will begin on Friday, June 17th with a cookout at approximately 6pm at a location about an hour south of Minneapolis and continue until Saturday at 4-5pm.  Save the date and indicate your interest by signing up in the back of the church after service or call Cody Schimelpfenig (612-998-0228) for more information.

Friday, 6/23 @ 7-9pm: Summer Concert, "On The Corner"! - Please join us for music, food, and games for the kids at Calvary beginning at 6:30pm.  There will be kids activities, popcorn and lemonade.  Live music by members of Calvary Church and the Twin Cities.  Music will be in front of the church on Blaisdell avenue while the kids activities will be in the playground and in the back.  Help is needed.  People can contact the following people:

Sunday, 7/2 after church: Communion Meal - Our communion meal will be an outdoor barbeque presented by our youth!  Donations of $5 will go to pay for various youth activities this summer.  People are encouraged to bring a side-dish, chips, or drinks.   Please sign up at the back of the sanctuary after church so that we can have a 'little of everything'.  :-)   We also are in need of set-up & clean-up help.  Please contact Peter Fanchi (612-232-0500) for further information.  Please plan on staying after worship!
