Saturday, 10/6 @10am-1pm: Apple Picking! Join us for our Annual Apple Picking at Afton Apple Orchards (click here to go to their web site). They are located at: 14421 South 90th Street, Hastings, MN 55033. Pick your own apples, raspberries & pumpkins. There are also hayrides and a six mile corn maze to explore! Maps (click here to go to their 'directions' page) & a sign up sheet are at the the information table after church, or call Amy Runion (612-729-2869) for more information! Sunday, 10/7 after church: Communion Meal - Our communion meal will be an outdoor barbeque presented by our youth! Donations of $5 will go to pay for various youth activities this summer. People are encouraged to bring a side-dish, chips, or drinks. Please sign up at the back of the sanctuary after church so that we can have a 'little of everything'. :-) We also are in need of set-up & clean-up help. Monday, 10/8 @ 7:00 pm: Congregational Prayer - We gather together at Church to spend time in prayer on the first Monday of every month at 7pm. Welcome! Please contact Pastor Jeff (612-872-7855) for more information.

Saturday, 10/13 @9:30am: Tas Philas Brunch and Pie-baking - Ladies! Tas Philas (Greek for “girlfriends”) Brunches will be hosted throughout the year in various homes as a chance for Calvary’s women to connect. On Saturday, 10/13, meet at the church in the kitchen. We'll have a delicious brunch and make pies and tarts together with all of the apples that we picked at the orchard. Feel free to bring any apples, tools/gadgets, or favorite recipes and ingredients you may have. Carol Jamison will be sharing her culinary gifts with us! Sunday, 10/14 after church: Visitor's Lunch! - We would like to invite anyone new to Calvary (over the last 3-4 months) to lunch on us following worship! It's a chance for us to say 'Thank You' and a chance for you to get to know us better. Please gather at the information table in the back of the sanctuary. Thank you!

Saturday, 10/27 @ 8:30 am: Men's Breakfast - All men are invited to breakfast. We will meet at the church. Typically a different member will share their faith journey each month. All men are welcome. Every Saturday @ 9:00 am: Calvary Kidstuff - At Calvary Kidstuff, we provide clothing and toys at low prices. Proceeds go to offset the costs of providing day care here at Calvary through Instep. Please contact Carol Jamison (612-822-9702) to volunteer!
